Past and Future Travel

By many standards, I’ve travelled quite a bit, but not nearly as much as I’d like to and I’m sure a lot of you have been to places I’ve only dreamed of as of yet. I’ve travelled with my family when I was younger, done the all-inclusive thing in my early 20s, and am now a bit more partial to the back-roads backpacking methods, although I don’t judge anyone’s mode of travel (but c’mon, you’ve gotta do 1 or 2 things you normally wouldn’t when you’re away, it’s part of the fun!).

Thus far, in rough order from my youth to the present, I’ve been to:

Dominica, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Antigua, Barbados, Cuba, the United States, Costa Rica, England, Italy, Mexico, Jamaica, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand, Peru, South Korea, and the Philippines.  None of these are airport layovers.

Current plans for 2016 include The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, and Sweden in April, a Canadian west coast road trip for a month in the summer, and if all goes according to plan, an extensive trip to Southern Africa at the end of the year, stretching into 2017.

I plan to knock off each and every continent before I die (yes, including Antarctica) and I want to visit as many towns, villages, cities, and everything in between within these beautiful spans of land. Stay tuned for further travel updates, as future plans become present adventures, and present adventures become life-changing memories!

  1. Those are some awesome trips for 2015. Been following your Peru travels- such as great place. Especially loved hearing the amazon sounds. Antarctica is a definite on my list as well!
